Modern Slavery Statement

Our Commitment

Modern slavery and human trafficking are unacceptable in any form. At Logicore Talent, we are committed to upholding human rights and promoting ethical recruitment practices across every part of our business and supply chain. We recognise our responsibility to act with integrity, transparency, and accountability—protecting vulnerable individuals and preventing exploitation wherever risks may arise.
Our commitment is guided by the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and aligned with international frameworks such as the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.

Our Business and Operations

Logicore Talent is an Australian-owned recruitment consultancy, specialising in the placement of mid-to-senior level professionals across both private and public sectors. We operate solely within Australia and employ all internal staff under Australian labour laws and modern awards.
Our supply chain is relatively low risk and primarily includes established Australian-based suppliers providing services such as office cleaning, waste management, facilities, IT, and professional support. However, we acknowledge indirect risk exposure—particularly in sectors reliant on casual or contract labour.

Understanding and Managing Modern Slavery Risks

While we do not engage directly in offshore manufacturing or international labour hire, we are aware that modern slavery risks may exist—particularly in subcontracted services and third-party arrangements involving temporary or low-wage workers. These include:
We are committed to proactively identifying, assessing, and addressing these risks through governance, engagement, and education.

Actions to Mitigate Risk

Supplier Due Diligence
All suppliers must comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits forced labour, child labour, and all forms of exploitation. We conduct risk assessments during onboarding and at regular intervals, requiring written confirmation of compliance with our ethical standards.

Recruitment Integrity

We apply rigorous checks during all hiring and placement processes, including:

  • Verification of work rights
  • Background and reference checks
  • Transparent contract terms and conditions
  • Clear communication of entitlements and obligations to candidates

Policy and Governance Frameworks

Our Modern Slavery Procedure, Code of Conduct, and Procurement Policy embed ethical principles across operations. These are reviewed annually, with Board-level oversight and escalation mechanisms for any concerns raised.

Awareness and Training

We provide targeted training to all staff on identifying and managing modern slavery risks, and extend awareness initiatives to high-risk suppliers and recruitment partners. Training includes red flags, reporting protocols, and industry-specific risks.

Reporting and Whistleblowing

We maintain a confidential and independent whistleblowing mechanism that enables employees, candidates, and suppliers to report concerns—including potential modern slavery—without fear of retaliation.

Remediation and Responsibility

Where Logicore Talent identifies that it has caused, contributed to, or is directly linked to harm, we are committed to acting swiftly and transparently to remedy the situation. This includes engaging affected individuals and stakeholders, and taking corrective action.
