Every team member is trained to respect the confidentiality of all client and candidate data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and other relevant laws.
Note: If you join Logicore Talent as an employee, this policy no longer applies to your “employee record” information, which is managed separately under the Privacy Act.
Definitions
- Personal Information: Information or opinion that identifies you or can reasonably identify you.
- Sensitive Information: A subset of personal information including health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, and criminal history.
- You/Your: The individual whose information is being collected.
- We/Us/Our: Logicore Talent and its related entities.
Scope
This Policy covers all personal information held by Logicore Talent about:
- Clients and candidates (including health sector professionals)
- Contractors and referees
- Website visitors and event participants
What Is Personal Information?
Personal information means any information or opinion that identifies you, including but not limited to:
Name, phone number, email, address
Resume, qualifications, work history
Tax File Number, superannuation, and bank details
Salary/wage data, aptitude test results
Reference details, criminal history checks
Absence/leave or workplace incident records
What Is Sensitive Information?
Certain information is considered sensitive under law and subject to additional protections. This includes:
- Racial or ethnic origin
- Religious, political, or philosophical beliefs
- Trade union membership
- Sexual orientation or gender identity
- Criminal record
- Health information (including medical history, disabilities, and health assessments)
We only collect sensitive information with your explicit consent and only if it is necessary for recruitment purposes or required by law (e.g., health checks for compliance in aged care IT roles).

When we collect personal information, we will take reasonable steps to ensure you are aware of:
- The purpose of collection
- The consequences of not providing the information
- Who the information is likely to be disclosed to
- How you can access and correct your information

We process your personal information based on:

- The necessity to perform our contract with you or to take steps before entering a contract

Why We Collect & How We Use Your Information
We only use your information for legitimate purposes related to:
- The reason you provided it
- Recruitment activities (matching candidates to roles, managing applications)
- Contractor and payroll management
- Communications (job alerts, updates, invitations—opt-out available)
- Quality assurance and service improvement surveys
- Relationship management (responding to queries, maintaining contacts)
- Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations (Fair Trading, WHS, etc.)
If we intend to use your data for any other purpose, we will notify you and obtain your consent as required.
If You Don’t Provide Information
If you withhold requested information, we may be unable to:
- Represent you for job opportunities or contracts
- Deliver certain services effectively
- Fully respond to your requests or complaints
Who We Share Your Information With
We only disclose your personal data when necessary and only to relevant parties:
- Prospective employers and clients
- Referees, former employers, education providers
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit)
- Service providers and background check vendors
- Related companies within the Logicore Talent group

How We Protect Your Data (APP 11)
- Secure storage: Data is stored in secure IT systems and locked physical files, with access restricted to authorised personnel only.
- Staff training: All staff receive regular training on confidentiality and privacy best practices.
- Data retention: We retain data only as long as required for legitimate business or legal reasons. When no longer needed, data is securely destroyed or anonymised. Retention periods are reviewed regularly in accordance with business and legal obligations.
Data Breach Notification
Direct Marketing (APP 7)
We will only send marketing communications with your consent or where permitted by law. You can opt out or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by contacting your Logicore Talent consultant or emailing info@logicore.com.au. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 and will never send unsolicited marketing messages.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect aggregate, anonymous website usage data to improve your experience. Our cookie use includes essential, performance, and third-party cookies.

Data Portability
Accessing & Correcting Your Information (APP 12 & 13)
- Access: You may request access to your personal information at any time by writing to us with proof of identity. A reasonable fee may apply for large or complex requests.
- Correction: If your information is incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, please contact us. We will promptly correct it and notify third parties where reasonable to do so.
- If your request is declined (e.g., for legal reasons), we will explain why and inform you of your rights to complain.
Withdrawing Consent
You can withdraw consent for data collection or marketing communications at any time by contacting your Logicore Talent consultant or emailing info@logicore.com.au.
Note: Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain recruitment or contractor services.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on our website and, where appropriate, notified directly to affected individuals.
